We’ve been playing this song for so long, I started to forget how it actually sounded on the cd. Well, now I’ve been reminded. :)

Every time we play a show, I’m reminded more and more why I do what I do. I love it. The rush of the music, of being on stage. The idea of having the time of my life every time I walk up on to any stage. All eyes on me, and I am on top of the world. Performing is something I hope I never have to stop doing. This band, this music, this lifestyle, defines who I am. And I love it.

“Your Melody” by 5 Times Over
 Brand new song, that we performed for the very first time last night. This is that kind of “sappy love song” that I posted the lyrics to, not that long ago. This song took a lot of work, with our drummer on the piano, and one of our guitarists on the drums, it left me to do my own thing with the lyrics. It took me a while for something to come to me, and if it wasn’t for a couple of band parents, this song wouldn’t be what it is. If my band didn’t push me, I wouldn’t have thought of going anywhere near that ending note. But I did it, and even though it took a LOT of push, I did it. And I could not be happier with this baby.
